Mar 11, 2010 - Thats one of the worse places you can be. The overpass funnels the wind which makes the wind stronger. Its better then nothing though so if you can get to one go as far in a corner as possible. :)

Mar 15, 2010 - I think it was the last F5 on the old scale if it was anything. There have been a few since the new EF scale went into use , and in Canada , because Canada does not use the Enhanced F scale...If I was told correctly.

There is a lab that is up north that has recorded wind speeds off of storm fronts that were faster than that , but its because the observatory is way up in the northern mountains. That however is the fastest Tornadic wind speeds recorded thus far.
